After lots of hard work, we are proud to announce the launch of the Skillbasket Beta testing stage. We want to make sure that when Skillbasket officially launches it is as great as it can be. We would like to invite you to try what we have so far, so that with your help we can make it a fantastic tool.

Whether you work as a freelancer or just have spare time to offer your expertise, or whether you're looking for someone to provide you with their expertise, time or skills, with Skillbasket you can source, provide and manage your gainful engagements with others. Particularly suited to Designers, Creatives and Creators who understand the power of open collaboration.

By sourcing either jobs to earn money, or finding people with skills to help you with your endeavors or your chores in one friendly and helpful place (that will be here of course!) you spend less time chasing ad-cluttered pages and because you get the information you need to know, you get to spend more time doing your stuff...

Putting our favourite skills to good use should be a given, and gaining from doing so a right.
Finding people with the precise skills that you require and engaging them is an everyday need and should be a simple task. At Skillbasket we believe that everyone has skills and services to offer, whether they use them every day or use them every so often, and that there is a calling for just those skills and services right now. Call it a job, outsourcing, contracting, help, or a favour - regardless of magnitude of task. Those skills and jobs are out there. Skillbasket aims to put them and you in touch with each other.

The Skillbasket approach

Skillbasket acts like a detailed interactive online C.V. and booking tool. It allows every person the opportunity to list their skills, showing simply and visually how competent you are in each skill and how much experience you have in each specific skill. Likewise it allows every person to hire the services of another.

By doing it this way there is a much bigger probability that other people will understand how you can be of use to them and vice-versa, and a bigger chance that jobs that seem odd to some people but are perfect for others will find their match. It really is that simple.
